I don't think you can just install a magnaflow cat, you will need to weld flanges on it.

Basically Berk's HFC is a Mangnaflow metallic cat and he welded on flanges.

a little louder, a little raspier, not much power until you match it with a well flowing exhaust.

Random Technologies makes universal and application-specific high flow cats. They work well.

Exhaust stuff in general isnt going to give you much HP, so run what makes sense for you (size, sound, cost, looks, etc.). If you have headers and a 3" inch exhaust it probably makes sense to gut the cat... otherwise not much point (imo). A high-flow cat will be louder than stock. Are you trying to make more "bahhhhh"? Personly , I love the bahhhhh. I eat the bahhhhhh.

you'll gain 4-5 Hp in most of the band.

you're exhaust will get deeper and louder, slightly.

It was a good mod, really went well with my T1R Exhaust

For those of you running TP, you're not worried of getting in shiet for it? It's a pretty hefty fine...

T1R test pipes come with tabs so you can re-mount the OEM cat heat shield to it. Of course if the cop taps on the heatshield it's going to sound as hollow as a tin can but it will pass the mirror test
