I bought mine off EBay from a Dealer in New Orleans (before the flood).
The first time I ever sat in one was when it arrived in my driveway in Alabama.
I've never looked back... Ok once in a while to check for blue lights ... and they ain't snowplows down here!!

Alright, seems like some people have had more luck than others...guess I'll just keep trying! (But out of principal, I will not sign anything on a car I haven't driven...is that naive?)

I can't believe anyone would buy a car without driving it first. Boy did they see you coming. I had a guy try that shit on me at Sherway Acura, they had a 2001 S2K in the showroom. I told him I wanted to drive it, he pulled out the paper work so I could make him an offer. I looked at him and ask if he was kidding, and my wife and I started to leave. He said he misunderstood me, yea right. We got the test drive. and bought a new one at Ready Honda. Sherway couldn't give me a car after that.

Wen i went to test drive the one i have no it was in march and freezing cold and rainy, almost snowing so i can understand why he didn't want someone driving it without knowing the person. I know i wouldn't let a stranger drive it in those conditions if i was trying to sell it, with my luck they would put it sidways and hit a curb or something.
Barrie honda wouldn't even let me take the 05 they had as a demo car. I showed up in my S2K even. Screw them!!

funny thing is, you walk into an audi, benz or BMW dealership and they'll let you drive anything......and the sales guy won't even come along.
i found those 3 manu. to have a totally different sales experience philosophy vis-a-vis customers.
when i got my first "expensive" car, i was dressed like i couldn't rub 2 cents together (still can't
)....the guy let me take the car out alone for as long as i wanted....
