I'm with Marco and Mike on this one. If the girlfriend is a keeper you have to build upon things you like to do together. Spend time doing things she likes to do or give her the total freedom to go off and do them on her own and just wait, soon enough you will see that reciprocated towards you and your interests.
I'm also with Simon on this one too.

it's two separate worlds...don't even attempt to mix your gf with the car scene...I let my gf know about what happens and what I am doing..but keep those two worlds apart...my hobby not hers..I never impose my will on her..she understands my passion, but will never understand why it's my passion.

I think you are right white03....
I just recently took my girlfriend to one of my London auto club meets and to tell you the truth I really wished she would of stayed home.
Every time I turned round it was "why are you looking at her" sorry but the girls were everyware, was hard not to look .
Anyways its my hobby and I think thats the way it is going to stay..........
Thx for the input guys...........
