if that doesn't work, call state farm. I have been using them for house insurance for 7 years, no problems and good pricing.

blackie, don't forget a specific content/jewelry/money rider (if it applies).

you would want all that stuff insured for it's replacement value.

it's only a few bucks more a year.

videotape - LOL.

we keep receipts (where possible) for all big ticket stuff.

we take pics of all jewelry/watches - we send the pictures into the insurance company everytime we get something new, along with invoices/bills of sale.

That can easilly be added after right?

Just get a value for eveything and add it in a week or so down the road. Because new items will most likely be purchased in the next few months.

^ yes, you can add/amend once your values go beyond the standard coverage amounts.

i wouldn't do it if your materialistic possessions can be covered by the standard coverage.
