Just be careful if u get the ones that make your hood open higher then stock. I accidentally turned on my wipers with the hood opened and it scratched the lip of the hood.

Yeah, the other thing ya gotta watch is the garage door.

With the car on jack stands, the hood is very close to the garage door when it is open and actually interferes with the stiffener on the garage door.

So, if you happen to be working on the car in the winter with the garage door closed and your hood up and your spouse presses the garage door opener... yikes!!!!



Not that this has happened to me, but the thought of the consequences gave me cold chills down my spine.
