Default Honda Pilot or Nissan Murano?

Thanks guys again for helping me with the decision process. I looked at the links that airgate has showed me and looked at both cars. As with the Pilot, it doesn't look good in pictures, but I think it looks pretty cool in person. Now I've never seen the Murano in person before, but in the pics, it looks like the Lexus RX300, and those are pretty ugly IMO. Have any of you guys seen the Murano in person, and does it look better than the Pilot? It looks as small as the RX300

I would buy a Murano ten times out of ten over a pilot. The Pilot is just nasty looking. The Murano looks damn good and chunky. Has a great engine and a great transmission, too.

Murano for sure ... the exterior and interior fit and finish are both nicer by far.

In order to do that, you have to get past the lack of exterior style first. Just damn awful looking car. As bad as the Asstek in my mind.

I would have to go test drive each one to be sure, but I will say this as a long term Nissan truck owner. Nissan may not always be in the limelight, but they have made GREAT trucks for a long time. And although I would NEVER claim an SUV is a truck, I will say Nissan does have some great experience in that area of capability. The Nissan's V6 makes 245 hp and 246 lb-ft, and the interior is way more attractive than the pilot. And yes, the Nissan is out there on the edge of design, but in my mind it beats the blandness of the Pilot, and I am THE HONDA GUY.

And yes, this is my next vehicle....

300+hp and 375+ lb-ft, 5-speed auto tranny with a manual shift mode and a rear locker

So far I've seen two Murano's on the side of the road non-functioning. No idea why and its sad.

I do like it.

If you want a pilot PM me and I can get you in touch with a dealer who'll deal
