Default Hesitation

Hey all
Having a issue
When just going along at a nice pace the car starts to bog down, almost like running out of fuel, starts to jack rabbit... this seems to be real noticable around 3k
and there seems to be no problems under hard acceleration

Any thoughts??

more info/history on the car, mods, kms, etc.

check/clean the map sensor electrical connection and the hole in it and the throttle body for any debris or blockages.

Got the car back
BTW - 2005, 40k miles and bone stock
Did a valve adjustment, no error codes
told me to use higher octane which is strange since I use preium @ 91 and to give the car a little abuse, do some high rpm driving etc

After that i paid a visit to Sunoco for some 94 ande went for a good cruise through halton hills, so far so good... any thoughts on octane and harder driving??

91 is fine. u will not get a hesitation by using a lower octane rated gas. but u may experince a engine ping as a result of useing petro with a lower than specified octane rating. did u check uer map sensor yet?
