Default HELP! Sparco SEAT BASE HONDA S2000 00+ R

Hi all, I was wondering if any AP1 owners out there who purchased this Sparco bracket?

It doesn't align properly to the factory holes so I sent it back to JRP. They said nothing is wrong with the bracket and asked if it is my ap1. Nothing is wrong with my ap1.

Sparco SEAT BASE HONDA S2000 00+ R
Product #: 400SB036R

Thanks all!

Eric

I had a set of Bride rails too.. they didn't align 100%.. u just had to play around with it and eventually they will all line up with a VERY tight fit...

just make sure the product number is the same for ur car.. if it's just off by a bit.. u just need to play around with it.. but if the holes don't match WHAT so EVER then that's a bigger issue

This is the passenger side bracket that i'm having issue with.

I agree with you spoon_boi, my driver side wasn't 100% aligned but I was able to get it to fit nicely.

Take a look at these pics, top is the front of the car.

As you can see, there is no way it will fit.

6013641, the driver side bracket should be fine. What seat did you get? Torino 2 is VERY tight in the s2000. I'm 5'6" and i fit perfectly when the seat is adjusted all the way to the back.

A piece of advise, I had to play around with the two front anchors (feet) in order to easily screw the bolts on. Mainly angling it so the bolts fit snugly.

Hey I have sparco seats and I'm using buddyclub super low down rails with some custom milled aluminum side mounts. pm me if you want to see a pic.

fyi, with the buddyclubs, you keep the ability to slide.

Just buy some metal at Home depot and make a small bracket to account for the difference.

Since the seat mounts are slotted, you may even be able to bend the rail slightly until the holes line up.

I get to slide as well with the slider kit i bought, but the torino 2 is just too wide to go back any further. I even had to remove the two covers for the recliner knobs.

I was thinking of getting someone remove the left anchor, straighten it and weld it back onto the bracket. I was afraid this will angle the entire chair towards the center of the car.

I was wondering if there is anyone who has removed their passenger seat or will in the future? I wanna prove to JRP that it's not my car and that the bracket is made incorrectly. I just need to place the bracket on the floor and snap a few pics like the ones i took.

Thanks

I've got a sparco mount that fits fine. If you want to compare you are welcome to borrow it.
