Default Had my first meeting with Transplant team.

Went to the Dr. this morning for my first meeting with the Liver Transplant team. My doctor want's me on the list because of my AB+ blood (~2-4% blood group). This was brought on by a minor virus or something a month ago and it took me 3 weeks to get over it, because of my depressed immune system. As it stands right now, it looks like any kind of travel is going to be put on hold because I need to stay within a couple of hours distance to the Hospital. One good thing is that right now I'm still fairly healthy considering everything. It's also going to put me in a bind with my remodeling business. I am going to have to be real careful in the jobs that I take on, so as not to leave a client hanging. I will probably be taking some classes with something to do with computers, just haven't figured out which way to go. Looking at a possibly a year before I can go back to doing what I do, and I can't handle that. Besides a lot of my leads will have dried up by then.

Any suggestions on computer training for this old dog would be helpful, I'm not a 20 or 30 something that grew up with them around all the time.

Thanks, Nimesh. I pretty much kept it to myself for the last couple of years. The doctors all sound fairly optimistic though. And I am not done yet with whatever it is that I have to do.

Good Luck, my father/law had a liver transplant done at Mass General in Boston in the early 90's due to hemochromotosis. Recovery takes a while but you can be nearly good as new if you follow the Dr.'s orders. Again, good luck!

Yeah man you need to get better soon. The salamander is coming up.

We need our token slow RSX hehe.

Also, don't sit right on the crapper in the hospital, I hear you can get sick there.
