You guys still think the Sierra is better than the Robbins? This is still on my to do list but it's way on the back burner

 

Robbins roof here. Been two years already -- seems like last week. Very happy with it. I'm in RVA not GTA though. Skilled installation is paramount.

Another Sierra top installed today. This is the stay fast cloth top. Glass window conversion on a customers 01.

 

I think the Stafast cloth roof is the same Haartz material regardless of Robbins or Sierra constructed -- they ain't making the cloth for sure. And I'm not sure who's making/sewing the roofs. This is a niche market and it's possible these all come out of the same OEM and just get marketed differently.

I’ve seen the Sierra tops change over the years. Maybe dependant on who makes the bulk order of tops. Last Robbins top I installed was super tight. This top I was able to unlatch same day after sitting in the sun for a bit

 

If I have a 00 with the original top can you get a OEM replacement with the plastic window?

Mines in decent shape for being 22 years old but she will need to be replaced at some point. Looking to keep it as close to factory as possible.

 

Kind of tempted... whats the best tutorial? I see so many different ones that require a dremel.

 

Toponline sells a bunch of tops with a plastic window still. I personally hate the plastic window and converting to glass as soon as I can.
