suck it up and treat it like you would do here, if you plan on going back to NY. Maybe your insurance company won't find out. I got one in DC a few years ago but they don't have a deal with Ontario so I never paid it and it had no effect over here, I don't plan on going back to DC either, lol.

Ive heard in some states you can attend a weekend traffic school or something and they will lower or take away the ticket. Look into it.
