Its not about the money - but having a clean record for 15 years is worth something. Id like to keep it that way.

And trust me when I say that the court date will be the least of my concerns that day. Its pretty much a trivial matter IMO.

No points but will affect your insurance. Well, depends on your insurance company but it does count as a traffic offense.

Go to court and fight it....
Agreed...its still a traffic offence and will affect insurance. Points dont mean squat to ins companies, they look at the number of tickets you have and severity.

Dave, I had the same ticket last year. I bought a $5 license plate bracket from work, kept the reciept and showed the reciept at the court date...ticket thrown out....

HAH it's about time you got in shit for it

My insurance was not affected. It's been 2 years and it's not on my abstract.

almost the same thing happend to me, I went to fight it and they had the wrong address on the ticket so I missed my court date and payment. Then ended up getting my license suspended but went back to court and got everything cleared.

Its a non moving violation so it shouldnt affect your insurance unless you're with some crazy company. Just book a 1st attendance meeting and show up and tell them you put on the plate and sticker and 99% they will drop it right then and there.

I got ticketed years ago for no plate on the front of my RX-7. I just got the car back from the body shop and the guy told me to let the paint cure for a couple of days before I put the mounting bracket back on.

I actually had the license plate on the front dashboard of the car. The ticket read "Front license plate not properly mounted".

I took it to court and the judge knocked $10.00 off the ticket. Hardly worth the effort.

No sticker on your plate or on your ownership? Fack I threw out the sticker for my ownership... actually the dealership did when I bought my new car as well.

The sticker is on my plate, but I forgot about the matching sticker on my registration. Its a BS ticket.

The cop told me that they will throw both out if I put the plate on and show them the sticker.

I have the bracket for the plate, and its back on already, I jsut think it looks like ass.

Thanks re the first attendance meeting. I was hoping I could just book something like that and save the time sitting in court.
