Got into an accident the other day. Traffic came to a sudden stop out of no where and I rear ended the guy in front of me. I was driving my 2000 Celica GTS at the time and luckily not my S. I am clearly at fault and I don't plan to go through insurance. So I would like to try to get this fixed as cheap as possible as this car is my winter beater. I got a quote from Impera body shop and they quoted me $1200 which is pretty reasonable for a good job but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative if possible.
How much do you guys think this should cost and can you recommend any shop that can fix this at a lower price. Please let me know.

From the quote I need new front bumper, there's a slight chip on the front fender, and the hood is slightly bent.

Well one option would be to source a used bumper from somewhere, potentially a scrap yard or some sort of forum like this one.
Get it painted and swap it yourself. Live with the chip on the fender and hood as long as they still function properly

Yea I think this would be the cheapest option. Will look into sourcing a used bumper. Thanks.

I would assume silver would be a common colour so shouldn't be hard to find a bumper, hood and fender to match without having to paint, but never owned a Celica so not sure which scrap yards have them.
