Andre, can S2000's do the TRAC school with no rollcage?
Does Carl himself teach? I've competed against him a few times now in Auto-x even beat him once, but it is usually close... but he is driving a type-R so yeah I should be faster I wouldn't mind learning some of his tricks haha.

I wasn't paying too much attention to what Carl was doing at last years class but I think he was teaching the more advanced group.

I took the MCO school in april last year at Shannonville, and Bob Armstrong was a very good instructor and had some very good insight.
If you'd like to talk to anyone regarding racing feel free to send me an email at sanis@sg-motorsport.com, I know when I was learning I had some basic questions and being at a school you are so overwhelmed with information you often forget to ask your questions. Take some time to type up an email and i'd be happy to chat with you![lol.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif)
I race with c three in the Canadian Touring Car Championship, not an S2000 but a Nissan 240sx #114.
Good luck with everything, you'll become addicted

http://www.trillium-bmwclub.ca/site/...DriverTraining these events are very good introductions and they will put you in the C (beginner group). Mosport is an unforgiving track, but if you have the right attitude you can learn on it safely.
The Hansen DDT is good to learn on as Biobanker suggested.
I like Shannonville, but it is a bit of a drive.
Last year I participated in 10-11 track days at they were a lot of fun. Do not start out with lapping days PLEASE. You will need to get 5-15 days under your belt of instruction before you are comfortable enough to drive Mosport or the bigger tracks on your own. Even then having instruction will take your driving to the next level.
Do not worry about being fast, concentrate on being smooth, understanding car control, and working up the speed slowly. I found myself pulling back my speed a lot with my new car even though it is more capable, and really who cares I'm having fun. learning and I will go back with my car.

I raced with Hanson this year he is a really good guy, very aggressive driver actually I loved it haha.
You would be able to learn a lot about racecraft from Peter for sure.
Either way you're sure to have tons of fun

Don't forget the MCO racing school at Shannonville in late April. I'll be there to check the box for my race license but it's not a pure race school unless you want it to be.
