Can anyone tell me why it's so much cheaper to buy these tires in the US? I checked TireRack for 18" and was approx $600 for staggered setup. With exchange rate at parity right now, can't we set up a group buy and have a small container shipped to a garage?

$842.41 US total for

215/45/17
245/40/17

From tirerack shipped.

From a local dealer = 904 taxes in CAD

So you save 40 bucks or so

lol those prices are ridiculous, my brother has a hookup on tires but I am not sure if he has our sizes. I will ask him tomorrow and get back although it would most likely be one brand instead of 10 different once for every person.

Yeah, I wish Adam could come up with better pricing, but apparently -40% off a ridiculously high MSRP is something a lot of businesses due to play with that "I got a deal" mentality.

I called Canada Tire in Toronto and came up with better pricing without even mentioning a group buy.

Sorry guys this didn't work out.
