I like to time the red lights so I don't come to full stop and also draft behind big trucks on long highway trips.

The first portion of the tank always seems to go further than the latter portion, so the rate on the first 1/4 may not apply to the rest of the tank.

I average like 325-350km a tank.

98% country back roads to work and home at full tilt and 2% on the highway, if that.

Smiles per gallon or bust. If you're worried about penny pinching and getting good MPG, you bought the wrong car.

I don't track my fuel economy in the S and only drive it once a week. But these tips are very helpful regardless. I can get over 800km out of a tank of fuel in my Civic driving like this.

The only time I can accurately judge fuel economy is when I'm driving 100% highway conditions. I tend to get 500 km per tank, around 115 km/hr average. City driving conditions are too inconsistent to accurately track fuel economy for me.
