Just a heads up if some people havnt heard, gas prices are going up a whopping 4 cents/liter tonight so it will be around 1.40/L for regular... If you need gas, go get it while its "cheap"

 

the other day I put in $50 gas from near empty and only got 3/4 of a tank, I was surprised how little I got for that much money on a small tank. Gonna be worse on the next fill, crap.

 

But gas just went up a few days ago wtf! And the price of oil went down...

Incase you didn't know

1 US gallon = 3.76 litres

1 US gallon of gas = $4 US (betweem $3.60 to $4.30)

1 litre CAD of gas = $1.50 so 3.76 L = $5.64 PER US GALLON!!!!!!!!!!

We really are geting screwed and just taking it. In other places around the world when gas goes up this unfairly they set fire to government buildings...lol

True, but Canada paying that much more than the US is insane because we are more comparable market to them than anywhere else in the world, so you would think it would be similar. Besides being comparable, and having almost equal dollars, we supply them with the damn stuff! Other oil rich countires provides less taxes or other subsidies which keeps gas cheep for themselves... We have one of the worlds largest oil reserves!



Besides, they want us to keep saying "its not that bad, look at Europe" so that we keep quiet while everything goes up slow and steady.

UK gas price 1.4P /L
Pound to Canadian dollar = x1.57

UK gas price in CAD = 2.20 /L

Oh, its 3.78 to convert to gallons, not 3.76 as I said before. So...

US gallon USD price = $4
US gallon CAD price = $5.67
US gallon UK price (in CAD) = $8.27

Well, yeah that does suck for them. lol! But still!

 

You can't compare EU and NA for gas prices. The conditions, the distances, the cars, etc are all different. Canada and US is more of a fair comparisson. However, the math up there was not done right IMO. Our gas prices aren't 1.50/L right now.. For premium sure, but lets compare apples to apples here.

 

Lol try paying for gas in my dodge ram hemi! When the price changes this much it changes my fillups by $15 :|
