After trolling the Garmin page, it looks like I too have the most recent Canadian map.

Its awesome, and you will love it, but Ive found it marginal at best in rural areas. Toronto and other major cities are spot on though. Best of all is that you can bring it when you travel and rent a car. No more getting carjacked cuz of a crappy right turn.

When you need a bank machine, it will find the closest. When you need a Kia dealership, it will tell you where. Ive found it great for Moores locations, I have them all waypointed and when Im looking for that killer deal on 1999s suit, it finds the best route from one to another to another to another to another.

First - Radioworld is about $400 more after taxes and shit than Gpscity. I got it overnight shipping from Calgary..no GST, total $1274 that includes the new maps.

Bio - My V4 Metroguide shows November 2003 as the update level. You said you had sucky rural coverage. I've found places with this that I didn't know existed around here. You may want to check mine out. Has the map to the Barrie Moores. You know you should make a country tour of all the Moores. Probably a free suite and disposable tie in it for ya.

Simon - I won't even get into the Harmony remote then and V600.

Harmony remote is OK, but if you want state of the art, Home Theater Master MX700 or MX800 is the only way to go. Fully computer programable, hard button, led screen, learning. Flawless macros.

Bonk - I will as soon as I can use it.
