Andrew, are you setting up turn-in/apex/track-out cones?
might be a good idea.
also, which track configuration does everyone want to run?
this is awesome... I guess we get to pick right? like split it up into two tracks for a bit or run full track... CW or CWW etc...
whatever you guys want.. the track is ALL yours ...

Cayuga Track Info

I'll share my knowledge so you guys don't suck as bad as me

IMO, make the track printout larger and start drawing your "lines". Remember, just like you were taught in kindergarten you gotta stay in between the lines
Thats a great link for the new guys that have never been on the track, the explanations are really detailed and accurate. wish I could make it out with you guys though.

I just wish I studied for my exams as hard as I've studied the FULL 3km TRACK *cough cough* the last few days.

wish I could make it out with you guys though.
there will be more

I'll prob. have my gf in the car so she's going to be yelling at me what to do rally styles... so far I have the following notes:

Turn:
1) 3rd Gear, cut apex at almost half way point
2) Brake early to stay stable, exit at turn 3 brake point
3) Late turn in
3rd to fourth) Stay in 2nd Gear?
4......
5) Come out hard on gas... likely in 3rd?
6) Late Turn in, heavy braking zone after upshift to third and come out hard.
7) Heavy braking to turn in, late apex clip point
8 & 9) Straight through chicane, then immed. on brakes for 10
10) shift to 2nd, turn car, GAS immed.
11) to be cont....
14) who cares, just watch out for the fakn wall!!!

Comments?

when you're coming into turn 3, be quick with the brake and down shift into second and push your way through it. you'll be surprised how much faster you make it through. a lot of new guys i've see out the are soo consentrated on braking hard because of the tight turn on 3 that they forget to downshift into 2 and end up bogginf the crap out of our little 2litres. and by the way, after going through the chicane if you do it right you can get a sweet drift all the way through turn 10, just don't get black flagged! lol. cheers guys.

Off the first turn (Straight) .. beware not to dive into the turn and hit the apex...

There's a little dip on the track that leads to the apex ... if your suspension is too stiff, you will bottom out before you hit the apex, which might leave your "tripodding" your car and spin out ...

so were you anal enough to bleed your brakes again?

or just gonna wait for the racetrack
If problems arise I'll do them there. I think it should be ok. I'll bring extra for sure tho.
