Hey guys i got cuple questions..

Has anyone had any experience with how to setup an onboard camera in their car at the track? I know iv seen a few videos on here but i was curious to know how you mounted your cameras? And any ideas about externally mounting a camera?
my external camera is very light so i picked up a suction cup mount at "the source" for like 10 bucks.... then you can stick it where you want..

my external camera is a samsung. its already 4-5 years old.. it comes with an external camera that you can mount on ski goggles or helmets. Back in the day it was 600 but you could probably find a newer style for 300ish. It uses an SD card too so all you need to do is swap the card and continue shooting.

here is a pic of the newer model than mine

40% chance of rain as of today at 10am. (less than 1mm though)

What's everyones plans if it rains? Anyone bringing a Canopy to hide underneath?

Is there an area there we can hide ourselves & our stuff under? I've never been there before myself.

Just pretending to be prepared
there isn't really any places to hide from the rain thats close to the road coarse at TMP. you might be able to get some cover under the stands for the drag strip and still see whats going on on the track but no promise there, you can hide either in the washrooms or in the track building itself but you can see the road course from there. probebly be a good idea to bring some sort of tent or umbrellas...

My buddy has this camera and it does produce a pretty decent video. You could get them at the Albion Flea Market for $150 if I recall correctly.

Instead of the little window between the seats I've got a camera mount right there. Pretty steady spot but sound sucks with the top down
