Default 'Former BAR employees tipped the FIA off'

article

Well, I was wondering how this happened. Here are some quotes from the article:

"FIA had been tipped off about what to look for by two former BAR engineers who had left for another team."

"It is believed that the two former employees gave the FIA precise information regarding where to find the fuel tank and what it involved. The fuel tank had previously been deemed illegal by the FIA's senior technical staff."

just shameful of BAR and Honda

You guys are assuming they are af fault. They're innocent until proven guilty!!

I'm sure if BAR was cheating so is everyone else, especially Renault. I don't trust Flavio at all!

There's a really great write-up on atlasf1 on the issue if anyone's a subscriber. At least they're not filling up the tanks with water and lead shot ala Tyrell.

That's cos Ron was too busy trying to keep them from killing each other!

BTW, if anyone's interested, I've commissioned a hand-drawn rendering of Senna's Lotus 97T and Clark's Lotus 49 side-by-side on track. The artist will be making prints of them available in a couple months too.

They all cheat. If you play by the rules, you'd be three seconds slower than the Minardi.

I'd like to see that. Sounds very cool.
