Default Florida ap2

Hey I just bought an ap2 that was a salvage title It had a lien on it I just want to verify that the lien has been paid or lifted im the 3rd owner I've purchased a carfax report and on the second onwner it doesnt say anything about the lien, It only specifies the lien on the 1st owner I've checked the dmv in florida(online vehicle check) and the car supposedly has no liens is there any other way to verify this.

Man that was a tough read.
ever used these? "." Its called a period.

From dictionary.com

- the point or character (.) used to mark the end of a declarative sentence, indicate an abbreviation, etc.; full stop. aka. time of the month during which menstruation occurs.
- a full pause, as is made at the end of a complete sentence; full stop or, an occurrence of menstruation.
- a sentence, esp. a well-balanced, impressive sentence: the stately periods of Churchill.
- a periodic sentence.

Shakes - if it has a salvage title, I hope you made sure it isnt parts only.

I dont know, but I would bet that the FL DMV would have the best idea. Call the border and find out what lien info they require you to show to bring it across.

It has a salvage rebuildable title from florida dmv, km are correct, and the car is already in toronto and fixed. I just want to know, if it is clear of any liens from previous owners. Is there any of finding that out.

I'm not sure how you find out for a Florida car, but try calling the Ministry of Government Services, Personal Property Security Branch
1-800-267-8847

They should be able to direct you to the right place to get the info.

The title will indicate any liens that is may have against it. You require the original title when you bring it over the border. You have to fax a letter to the Lewiston bridge 72 hours prior to arrival. The letter must say you are intending to export the vehicle to Canada, state the VIN and description and include 2 photocopies of the title.

When you get to the Lewiston bridge you present the title (clear of encumbrances) to the vehicle export desk and they stamp it. You may also need to inform the Florida DMV that the car is leaving the state. Check their website.

The question at hand would appear to be, have you heard of grammar and punctuation?
