Ever since I got the Coastal Metals splitter for MY SPA, I have wondered why they put that dull black crinkle finish on the thing. And I have never been a fan of that black trim piece that goes on the outer edge.

After having my wheels powdercoated, the search began for what else I can do with this amazing process, the splitter was the first thing I thought of. So I ripped off the trim piece, and had the aluminum splitter powdercoated glossy black to match my wheels.

Had I known it was going to turn out so perfect that I would not use the trim piece again, I would have sanded down the front edge to make it a more perfect shape. So, make note of that if you should decide to have yours powdercoated glossy black, or white, or grey......

So, here it is, it is so glossy black it is not funny, nor is it easy to photograph.

Id be intersted in this also, I need a splitter to sweep up all the Berlinas that get in my way.

Give us a shot that better shows what it looks like on the car Doug.

Sorry, it will have to wait a few days, we are scheduled for lots of rain in the next couple of days so my car is up on 4 jack stands as I try to get things done for my 3-day school at The Glen 5/16 to 5/18. With luck I will have the car down on the ground this weekend....
