It does, but I have never topped out 6th gear - so I don't have an issue.

with the Mugen ECU, lack of low end torque was never the problem.

for me 9000RPM is very important.

I do like the little stuff they added for 04, such as headlights, tailights, and nicer rims.

I personally love my '03.
I've owned both. I can honestly say the 04+ is a more polished package. I would however not hesitate to own an AP1 again.

I've owned both aswell and 04's are hands down a better package. There is no comparison.
