Feeling like a good samaritan today
I went on a cruise earlier today- Kawarta lakes region over to Muskokas. I was driving on 35N when I saw an OPP cop shooting his radar in the southbound lane. Once I passed him, for the next 3 km or so, I started flashing my hi-beams to warn the ppl in the southbound lane. I noticed most got the message as I could see their brake lights in my left mirror. Some people waved back or flashed their lights in return (as a thank you gesture I guess).
It just felt good to realize that I may have saved one or more unsuspecting motorists from getting pulled over and ruining their weekend. I know in the past other motorists have warned me of oncoming speedtraps- so it felt good to return the favor to others as well.

That's great, it seems to be a dying thing these days, in the old days it was much more prevalent, everyone used to flash around speed traps. With today's unmarked cop cars the danger of flashing an undercover cop is higher though, and you can get ticketed for flashing your lights unfortunately.

I got pulled over for that ... I told him I pushed the high beams instead of the washer fluid to get rid of a bug that splattered on my windshield Pretty sure he thought I was full of shit but i got away with it.
