The only performance gains you will get are in weight reduction. There is nothing to gain from efficiency and in fact some exhausts actually rob power. The sound is a personal choice but be aware that most will drone at highway cruising speeds which is far more annoying than you might think and is a big problem on singles (they all do it).

No bashing my exhaust till you go and swap out the 100lbs of metal from your monstrous OEM poopshoot.

Well I have heard a comptech exhaust w/ aem cai and it sounded REALLY nice. Someone in Cambridge had an HKS cat back on their silverstone S and that sounded pretty aggressive...I liked it as well.

I would go the used route but no one ever has one around :-P (you know how that always works)...

I initially wanted to get a Mugen H/I/E combo but that might run me some serious $$$ ( my uncle is moving to Japan in a couple of months...soo that could work out if he could get a good deal)

What brought me to the T1R is the aggressive sound and the prices seem relatively good.... I just wish I didn't go on the hiway most weeks, b/c I'd take that 70mm Single Ti exhaust in a heartbeat.

Sorry for the long post.....If anyone has a used (mint condition) exhaust setup for sale ... or knows of anyone who does...LMK)

Thanks guys....and Just became a GOLD member too

Good job, goldmember.

I have an AEM V2 and a comptech and it's a nice combo in terms of sound. I have a header too, but I'm not gonna say which cause the bastards will just pick on me. But it was a good deal Okay, DCSports.

Overall I think it sounds great. Next addition will be a testpipe, probably a Berk since I like what I see in the quality and reviews on here. Price is right too!

Mugen stuff in Japan wont be much cheaper. Those parts are expensive everywhere.

The 70RT is VERY loud. It might not seem like that in the videos, but in real life, its no joke. Your neighbours will know exactly when you come home, and very likely you can get into trouble with the cops.

Not to mention, if you track, some of the tracks will not let you on due to your overly loud exhaust.

Hope this helps.
