OP, take a picture of the skinny grey hoses that go into the IAC. From looking at the front of the car, they should be infront of the block, behind and to the right of your intake filter.

That secondary air injection system is a blower that sits in your bumper.

It injects air into the exhaust to bring the cadylitic convertor temperature up to optimal operating temperature as fast as possible.

Why? To reduce emissions.

Here's a link to troubleshoot the DTC.

Before you read this, go back to your car and trace the hoses that go to and fore from your Intake. Take pictures and post them up. I believe you have a crossed/damaged/pinched hose.

just to let u know uer intake k&n intake is not the reason for uer current dtc. there is one hose from uer k&n intake that leads down to uer air pump. if uer standing in front of uer car its on uer lower right hand side. but even if this hose was disconnected it would not throw a code. it would just let un filtered air into uer air pump and into uer exhuast ports. if this hose is kinked u may have less air flow to uer air pump, but due to the fact threr is no metering device for the seconday intake system its a problem with uer air pump or air pump circuit.

guys please try not to mis-lead this fellow.

does uer air pump even turn on durring start up? u should be able to hear it turn on or off.
