Elise's are slowly streaming in s2kRob

Actually, they brought by the Orange Elise with the track package and a green base model by Speedstar on Saturday... Was getting an oil change when they came by to give Albert and the boys a test drive.
The orange looks really hot in the sunlight.
As far as the exige goes, they're not sure if they'll bring them in because they may have to crash a few more of them to pass transport cda. Apparhently, the body construction is significantly different to warrant another approval. This cost might exceed the profit potential for the Canadian market size.
also, the 048's are part of the track package option... the base tires are Advan nevoa's.

Body on the Exige is handlaid fiberglass, the body on the Elise is fiberglass chop (where they spray it into the mold with a gun). So, yes it is a different body.
Still getting one.
Stay tuned.
Should I get LSD + TC or not? Undecided.

I'm sure that it would be a cracking car on the track... but how would it be for the other 29 days / month?
I didn't see much adjustibility in the seat... like Marco's Spoon seats so if you don't fit just right, it may be painfull on a long drive.
Secondly, I wonder what its like with a strong crosswind on a rutted highway? Probably more twitchy than the S on Rcomps... You might be too exhausted for the track if you drove it up to Shannonville in the morning.
