Default Eibach Pro Kit on stock Shocks

Just wondering how long the Stock Shocks will last with the Eibach Pro Kit installed. I tried to do a search but couldn't find a solid answer.

Anyone here have or had that setup? Any notes I should think about? Did the shocks last 1 year? 2 years? Less or more?

Thanks guys

you guys should really look into coilovers.... everyone ive ever known who went springs ended up getting coilovers and scraping the springs!!

they probably didnt buy the correct springs. springs that drop lower than 1'' will blow your shocks in like 10k. you have to make sure the springs you buy are close to spring rates of the oem ones. and i just need an inch drop hence why i choose springs

I have the tein s tech. bought the car that way, as far as I know it rides well. But a drop spring will never match a decent coilover since the spring/damper are engineered to work together.

What do you mean correct springs? If you think about the logic of a lowering spring, the spring rate needs to be higher than that of the oem IF you want to maintain at LEAST the same level of firmness. If you think about it, it is a give and take relationship between the spring rate and height of the spring.

I actually have the Prokit on my MY00 and the ride is great. Handles better than stock. Comfort is comparable to stock. The drop is great so I'm pleased with this setup for now.

its simple if you want the best stance + performance... spend a little bit extra and get the coilovers. If you want a moderate drop for cheap then get springs.
