Ecclestone can't be serious....
Ferrari selfish, says Ecclestone

Bernie Ecclestone has accused the Ferrari team of being "selfish" in blocking proposed changes to formula one regulations designed to inject a degree of unpredictability into a sport which has been dominated for the past five seasons by Michael Schumacher.
In an exclusive interview prior to Sunday's inaugural Chinese grand prix in Shanghai, formula one's commerical rights holder also reiterated his belief that the famous Italian team had not learned from the embarrassment caused to the business as a whole after the 2002 Austrian grand prix in which they instructed Rubens Barrichello to relinquish victory to Schumacher almost on the finish line.
"They have a policy to win the world championship," he said. "They don't want to take any risks, but what's a little bit bad is their selfishness over not wanting to compromise over the regulations to make the racing a little more challenging.
"The one-by-one qualifying, for example, has been a complete disaster, and Ferrari haven't done anything to help as they won't agree to change anything. They are terribly selfish like that."
Ecclestone also doubts that the German driver would have enjoyed such prolonged success had Ayrton Senna not been killed in 1994.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm a Schumacher fan," he said. "But would he have won as many championships as he has done if Senna had not left us? I very much doubt it. Of course Ayrton never had the luxuries Michael has had. Michael has never had anybody in his team who has been able, or been in a position, to challenge him, and he's certainly in the best team there is."
....uuummm, isn't that the point of the whole series???? TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP????

I agree, Ferrari are selfish. Just slow down and let everyone catch up!

Try harder then, ditch that BAR team and come on over to Renault.
In all seriousness, BE is a moron and should be shot. For him to say those things shows what an idiot he really is. Although, he did make a good comment about Senna. MS may be the best of all time but he never truly had a challenge. Atleast, Senna had Prost to contend with. Unfortunately, i doubt Mika Hakkinen will go down as one of the best....

Nabeel, I totally agree with ya about Bernie.
I also have no problem with your devotion to Honda, I too was a Jordan/HONDA fan for several years. As I have said before, I became a Renault fan for '05 for no other reason than my lust for a Titan, and Renault saved Nissan from an ugly demise.
I still want to beat your ass even if ny only one point come the end of the year though.
