Duty for used item from US

im sorry for taking this thread slightly off topic but which car rental companies will allow me to drive a rental into the states? planning a trip to chicago and I would much rather drive there than fly.

Yeah. I've done it. Youth choice if you want totell them or not. They usually don't like it though. You should e able to find a company that gives unlimited ( or close to unlimited ) kms.
Sometimes the guys don't care if it's small. From what I understand duty is not that bad. It's brokerage fees that are a rip ( if you are shipping) . But they will prob make you pay for a hardtop. I say bring the car install and make sure it's proper! What if you get it here and it's damaged?
