Dumb AutoTrader.ca ads

permission received for some discretionary funds for use in acquiring 2 seater.....
a couple ads catch my eye online..... just a question.... how much wiggle room should I expect for a dealer selling a late model s2000?
say if the dealer lists for 25-27K, do u think I can start off negotiatons at a 10% discount?
the last time I bought a used car from a dealer was my wife's 2003 CRV in July 2004.... was able to get about $1000 off their asking price...... including a decent trade-in on her 1998 Civic Si
This will be a no financing deal......

I emailed one of those ads once figuring they just made a typo, lol they in fact did not, the car was in Halifax ready to be shipped to me, owner was in UK or something lol
Before I did, I also called one that said she lived in the UK, I knew it was a scam right there. She wanted to ship it to me, except this time it was in montreal.
I have reported these ads to autotrader, but I have gotten no response nor do I think I will ever. That company is crap and they dont care what the ad is as long as they get paid.
Don't be fooled by any ad with no contact info.

yeah, all new scammers got their ads in somehow, not sure why the heck Trader doesn't flag these or do something about it when it's blantantly obvious...esp the ones with JUST an email and it's a stupid email too.
