Default Dumb AutoTrader.ca ads

What's with the AutoTrader.... There are some S2000 ads there that have obvious typos.... i.e. S2000 for under $5000

There's a black s2000 that catches my eye, priced somewhere between $13500 and $17500, but no contact info... no email, or phone or anything?

Am I just supposed to yell at the ad on the computer screen and hope the seller hears me?

Rant off.

P

Scammers they are! Two ways you can tell is that they almost never give a phone number for contact( usually email only) and second if they do give a number, it is out of state and not working. I tried contacting one of them several months ago and boy was it ever obvious. (The picture ad had palm trees in the background, yet they were selling out of Quebec and seller actually lived in England lol)

I emailed one of those ads once figuring they just made a typo, lol they in fact did not, the car was in Halifax ready to be shipped to me, owner was in UK or something lol

Yep tons of scammers out there. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.

Was looking today actually.

That black one looks like there are 2 forsale, one older one for $13,500 and the other for $17,500 but they could both be scams I don't know.

How much you looking to spend? I have a minty fresh one I may sell. '01 SPA Yellow, 50,000km never winter driven no dents only a couple of TINY rock chips on the hood.

yeah, all new scammers got their ads in somehow, not sure why the heck Trader doesn't flag these or do something about it when it's blantantly obvious...esp the ones with JUST an email and it's a stupid email too.
