i would have bought a few select options - if offered.......
traction, full/better leather, adaptive sport seats (whatever the honda equivalent would be).

does anyone offer gears anymore?
i know that you could get diff gears with mustangs, firebirds, camaros - and maybe vettes.
i don't think you can do that anymore...

Ya - those are the cars I was thinking about because I knew you could get it for them.
Not sure anymore as I have not been in the market for one so I have not checked.

probably b/c the S2000 is not mass-produced...it's a boutique car.
everyone would then have to order their config....highly inefficient when producing low volume.
no delear wants to order you a car...they'd rather find an existing one in inventory....unless you're adamant and are gonna walk on the deal.

True - but I did order mine.
Still kinda leaves me because I always thought Honda knew the S2000 was a low volume car so you would think that would suit a "configurable" car over a mass produced car.
If GM/Ford could do it with the camero/firebird/mustang - all REALLY mass produced in the 70s/80s/90s - I would have thought Honda could do it with a "limited" numbers car.
Unless your thinking is produce x number of cars in each possible config?
