I myself will not use it on the dash because I feel the shine it creates is too much, I prefer the dullest finish possible on my dashes.
Are you sure you're using 303 properly? I've had nothing but matte finishes with 303, and it's definitely not what i would consider as glossy... almost no shine in my experience. A second MF is needed to buff-dry 303, this works best in reducing streaks as well! I've only had a 'glossy' finish from 303 when it froze over on the dash.(On a side note, 303 freezes on the dash VERY EASILY, and is a HUUUGE pita to remove. Do it on a nice warm day, or keep your heaters on.)

You guys are a big bunch of jokers, I'll be up in here more often!

I agree that I've had only matte finished with 303. My only complaint is the greasy feel it leaves behind. Never thought to buff-dry. I'll try that next time.

I never leave it wet. That tends to leave streaking behind, especially if used on a black dash, that has been out in the sun for quite some time.

Spray liberally on your MF, rub the sucker on the dash, and come in with a clean MF, and buff to matte finish. Perfect every time!

Good point...
I guess I should have clarified that..
What about this? Won't this eliminate the 303 availability problem?
