I did'nt even know about the wave..When I was growing up my dad had a Vette ZR1 and he always waved to other owners...so soon as I got the S2K I was doing the same and got a couple waves back but most of the time they jus look at me like I'm retarded.
There is this guy I see almost every day on Hwy 7 after work, I am going west towards Langstaff and he is going east and I get waves from him.

Im in markham as well....
The vdub community was the best.. had a jetta vr6 and a GLI slammed... showed much respect for each others cars but bashed everything else that wasnt euro.... LOL

i always wave, but the other guy gives the attitude like he's got the best S2k
in the world and you're nobody.

anywho, if u see a suzuka with a pedobear sticker on the wind deflector in markham, i'll wave back

That's great to hear there's still a community out there. I'm going to continue waving like I'm in a parade, until some one waves back. Crused around this weekend but no wave backs except for a dude in an old '56(?) MG ...I should make a game out of this...

Since it's my first summer out in the S2.. I was drivin along and a black S2 was coming at me and gave a big wave out the side so I did it back! Then today another black one pulled up next to me and gave the wave... so I gave it back! I didn't know everyone did the wave but I am all for it! ahah

when i first got the car back in '03, there weren't that many on the road; but if i do i waved and i'd get waved back.
these days i don't drive it much - and when i do, there aren't that many s2k's on the road.
i do look over at the car and give a subtle nod - so that i don't get left hanging lol
btw, saw a yellow ap2 on friday going along sheppard, plates BDDH *** a (cute) asian girl was driving. she can definitely drive!
sorry for tailing you near the bayview on ramp (i'm the guy in the silver subaru) - i was trying to squeeze in front of that slow ass beige corolla that was not letting me in.
