Cheap laptops?

I'm a computer idiot. But I heard from someone that LG laptops have the strongest wireless signal. Is that true cause if I go get one I do want one with really strong signal. What do u look for in that case

regardless, I'd ensure it has Centrino Technology
or if you need strong signal
-install an external wi fi antenna "sma jack" possibly
-install a usb external network adapter with ext. antenna
-ensure your power settings on nic card are set to full and not in power saving mode
