Changing oil before storage?
#21
I just gave you guys something to think about. Do a little research, call a local BMW dealer and find out what their oil change intervals are. Don't be surprised when they tell you every 24000km. Again, they use synthetic oil. Then ask them what brand of synthetic oil. Guess what, Castrol made for BMW. No BS .

just to let u know oil change intervals on new bmws r 24000km, this is not recomended for Honda. the short and long of it is that the idea of changing oil at 24000 is to save money. when u buy a new bmw they mite tell u oil changes are covered for a few years. and they only change the oil twice a year. lol its a funny trick.
hondas approach is that they have introduced a maintenance minder oil change. a maint minder oil change is when only the oil is replaced. this type of oil change is due on every second visit with intervals of aprox 6000kms or 3 mnth.

Go read the oil analysis that people do. People get 8,000 miles on full synthetic with OEM honda filter.
The filter is just as important as the oil.
The ONLY way to tell when is the best time to change is to get your oil analyzed.
