Cayman S
So, i test drove a Cayman S from Pfaff last week and wow, i was quite impressed.
-Love the sound of the engine and also hearing it from behind by back.
-Love the handling, easily outhandles a S2k
-Love the smooth power delivery and had a high fun factor
-Love the looks of it. It has a hint of the Carrera GT from the rear, beautiful!
-Love the porsche feel.
-Love the feedback from the steering. easily the best steering of any car i ahve driven.
-Hate the list of options they have for it. There's a ton of options and big $$ and they make you pay for each and every one of them!
Overall, great car for twice the money of the s2k.
I"m thinking of buying it...

Nimesh and I went to see it just when it came out.
Although I haven't driven it, it looks pretty awesome.
However, the tug for a convertible would make it pretty tough to choose between that and a Boxster S.

Besides, this is suppose to be a luxury car, money should be no object.

Apparently sales are SUPER slow on the Cayman, it is overpriced and even Porsche knows it.
for a cosmopolitan such as toronto, i've seen 1 on the road so far....
and on a side note, not withstanding newness, P-name, coupe rigidity, etc...., a supercharged S2000 is a no-brainer (costs you $6K on top of the car).
at the end of the day - try as you might - you can't dispute numbers.
the cayman S is an over-priced, 911-wannabe......i'll take a BS over a cayman any day.....but i'd take a supercharged S2000 over both.....what's the difference?

^A Cayman S.
Of course the sales would be low. The car just came out in January and it's not like many people will be lining up to buy it in the winter. Come April, i'm sure they will start to sell them....
