Default Cars drinking oil.

Got my car after the rebuilt from the dealer. When i turened it on at the dealer the check engine light came on, and i told them before i even moved it. The tech came and looked at it told me to go drive it, and if it comes back on dont worry just bring it back. Now i just checked my oil and after only 1 day my oil level has gone froM High to Low....what could be the problem. And also if they were to find a problem with the car now would it be under warrenty or on me? because they gave the car to me saying it was ok so now it has to go under warrenty right?

eek ! sounds like a similar set of circumstances as did Johnny went through. (sorry if I'm out of line Johnny by speaking on your behalf)

As a result of the over rev, you dump thousands into a rebuild and the car is NOT the same.

It seems these "gremlins" seem to pop up every now and then and this is how it appears to be with our cars after an incident like this.

I can't believe how similar the signs your car is showing as did Johnny's.. and today after weeks in and out of shops, dealership, the cars just never seem to run the same again.. ?

sorry for the long answer, but its now a "their word against yours".. not the best situations to be. But still see if warranty will cover it as their work should have at least some sort of warranty ? 90 days or something of the sort ?

Its on the last 2 x's i think. Well its very close to the "L" mark on the stick. And this is after me driving it home from dealer and today going to dealer at all times keeping the revs below 4k.

hmmmm, that does sound low, but not dangerous. Did you see how much was in it before you left the dealer?
