Hey boys...depending on how much insurance will give me that will determine what car I will be able to purchase. I just want to get a concensus from you guys. So, my choices are:

1. G35
2. 350Z
3. RX8
4. IS300
5. Another S2k--possibly Rob's if he lowers his price! lol

$30-$35K -> Another S2k
$35-$50K -> Older NSX
$50- $60k -> Older NSX, 996 911
$60 - $70k -> Older NSX, 911 or Elise.

If you picked up an older NSX for $40ishk and drove it for a year or two, you probably will be able to sell it for what you paid.

I personally wouldnt get any of the cars on that list. The G35 is a sport sedan as is the IS300. The RX8 would only be good if you wanted an S2k with a back seat. And the 350Z, well......

I would get a an IS300 and put a 2JZ GTE(Twin Turbo Supra) engine in it. It's a direct bolt in so it's a pretty easy swap.

I'd personally scratch the RX8 and maybe the IS300 if its the current generation. I don't like maintenance level of the RX8 and the IS has a redesigned model coming soon.. what year of each model are you looking at?

hahah thanks for the replies! I would looooove to get an M3 if I had that kind of cash! Right now everyone I talk to says the G35, however, if I could get a supra engine I would definitely get the IS300. Is it a direct drop if the IS300 is a 5spd? Any idea how much that engine would cost? Thanks boys

you can get an '00 for dirt cheap i'm sure..
