not sure yet, but i'll do that tonight asap.

after trying to recall what happened last night. i'm 10000% sure that the car 'stalled' with the clutch depressed and it wasn't geared into first at all through the duration of the turn.

jarek, the car seems to idle fine because i encountered some stoplights when driving back home. i had my windows up though. the clanking noise gets really noticeable when revs go above ~3500rpm. below that you can barely hear it. this is when i'm in the car with the windows up

nimesh, i checked it two weeks ago and it was a tad beyond max. you have a good point though, i'll check it when i get home as i'm driving another car right now.

Damn, I was going to say, Gas Cap.

Sounds like a bent valve to me, (ludeboy), or a loose rocker arm. Get it in fast!
