Default in car camera

What's the best way to do a 2 or 3 source camera, position set-up...economically? That means for less than $1000.00.
Do camcorders,( don't have one yet), have secondary video inputs for, lets say, a bullet style cam? I do know that most mid price range camcorders, ($300.00 - $400.00), do not have external mic or video capabilities but do come with anti-shake features.
It would be nice to have a forward camera view and a dash or footwell view like the Tsubuka Battle videos from Japan.
Just curious.

mindcore had made a batch of mounts that allowed for a camcorder to easily mount to it..

i'm sure he'll chime in and give you the specs..

VIdeo cameras have inputs but then you can't use the built in lens it is one at a time.

You need something like this:

The front page of s2ki has a short article on this with great info.
