I'm sure the only difference is spring rates.
correct....and that's a pretty major difference when talking about a coilover....that's it's job.

Dont listen to Nimesh Corey - he doesnt know FA.
There are no authorized Buddy Club dealers in Canada, according to Buddy Club USA. The only way to get Buddy Clubs into Canada was import them from Japan on a coilover by coilover basis. Hence ppl bring them over via Japan trips.
BC USA told me that there was NO difference aside from the mountings.
Why Nimesh believes that Canada has access to the Buddy Clubs of all Buddy Clubs, when the USA doesnt, is beyond me.
Also keep in mind that the only Buddy Clubs with ANY warranty are now the US specs.

Hey, all I know is that I was in on the conversation and that Albert has compared the US ones with the JDM ones side to side, and he said you could really tell the difference.
Buddy Club Japan and Buddy Club USA are not the same company, as evidenced by the fact that Buddy Club Japan has gone into bankruptcy and Buddy Club USA is alive and well. What the exact relation between the 2 companies is, I don't know, but the US stuff appears to be made in the US, versus the JDM stuff from Japan.
In my opinion, any suspension where you have to modify it to just get it to fit on the damn car in the first place (IE the US spec Buddy Clubs) is a pretty shoddy setup. But that's just my opinion . . .

LOL.
but what's the use of buying a specific coilover if you have to change the springs from day one????????
why not just do a shock and spring combo?
