As an aside, I actually started to rethink the Boom2 before the recent thefts.

A few weeks back there was a story in Markham where i guy was shot trying to defend his car during an attempted carjacking.

Wouldn't it be such a pleasure to hand over the keys if you knew the car was being tracked? "Wave and ask them to drive carefully"

Actually, regarding the B2 that might raise a good question. Since they have the keys, the alert wouldn't go off on its own. Can they start to track your car if you just call them in this situation? (probably yes, but just checking)

keep the transponder on your pocket/wallet.

it doesn't have to be on the keychain, right?

let's say the transponder is with the car, and the car gets stolen, you can still "manually" phone it in stolen, right?

I have something called VIGIL installed in my car my best friend does the install its an unbelivable tracking system its absolutly incredible http://www.vigiltech.com/en/
boomarang is Cellular Triangulation this is GPS

I talked to my friend who does this..... GB price of 550 inc taxes if cash installed
