Boomerang/Boomerang 2 GB--Anyone interested?
Heh guys, I can set up a group buy on these systems through my dealership at Brantford Mitsubishi. Prices would include installation.
Boomerang is a cellular based technology that gives your vehicle an Electronic Identity that can be tracked anywhere in North America. The small device is embedded into the vehicle with minimal power requirements, and no external antennas the Boomerang is extremely difficult to find. Many Insurance Companies in Canada offer discounts for the installation of this device, and some even mandate it!!!
Boomerang 2 employs the same features as the Original Boomerang but has one significant difference. The addition of a transponder that attaches to the owners keychain adds another element of security.
If the vehicle is driven or towed without the transponder present inside the vehicle the Boomerang 2 assumes that the vehicle is being stolen. The Monitoring station is immediately advised of the unauthorized movement. The monitoring Station then begins to track the vehicle and contacts the owner.

I believe the other significant difference which set aparts boom2 is that if your car is moved it automatically dispatches the call instead of having the owner call it in as is the case with boom1
