I saw that one in the Trader, I think it went for like $24,700.
Over $90k was beaten on? I just picked up my 02 BB from Brantford Honda, but it just had a brand new engine installed under waarranty over the winter by the dealer, due to a oil leak they had trouble fixing.

it's in really good shape, appears to be a car that was well taken care of!

There's no way in hell Honda replaced the engine due to an oil leak. In all likelyhood, the previous owner overreved and blew the engine.

I really hope you don't have any issues with your new car, but I personally wouldn't have touched it.

it could have been driven year round. Could have been some long trips.

it's not mine so I don't care, but if you have more info you should share it.
seriously.... I'd like to know more

Yeah I've owned enough cars and spent buckets of money on em, so I was very hesitant when I heard about this. Apparently when it came off lease they couldn't locate the cause of the leak, so when the warranty paperwork went into Honda Canada repeatedly they got a response back over the winter saying "Pull the Engine, we're sending a new one."

I was really concerned so I spoke with the owner of the dealership who told me that it was driven by one of his good friends' wife (the friend himself drove a TSX, doesn't quite seem fair to me ). I am still doubtful as to whether I have gotten the whole story from them, but either way new brand engine, tranny, tires and brakes with the paperwork for all of it. I dunno what else to be worried about even if it was beaten on, maybe that the previous owner wore the suspension extra hard? I'm not too worried now

It runs incredibly with few to no paint chips on the front end, although there are some little surface scratches above and to the right of the driver door handle where her bracelet touched everytime she got in. I've polished those as much as I can, not really visible now.
