Vince, practice 2 was just on, I watched it before I cam e into work this morning.
Nabeel, I will admit, Honda is looking way better than I thought they would this year

Here is what you will not read on F1 Live, my reactions to watching the session
- it was a practice session, hard to say what the teams were working on so "times" do not really mean a lot, they said some teams had over 10 different tire compound choices to choose from and they had to decide by the end of the practice sessions so
- holy crap, when one car puts a tire off or drives off track and then comes back on, it seems like 90% of the time the next car that comes through flies off the track, the sand that gets brought back up onto the track just kills the next car through
- wow, I need to study up, all the teams that could put 3 cars out did, they were talking about drivers who I did not recognize at all
- there were an alarming number of left rear tire failures from Michelin. David C. had a lurid spin when his LR just immediately came off the wheel while going through a corner

I swear, i hate SATO! Why they have this guy in the other seat is beyond me. I know they're just practice times, but the guys sucks.....i would prefer to take my chances with the inexperienced Davidson.....
Hopefully, BAR can keep it up. Can't wait for qualifying!

Ok I'll be the Sato appologist, athough I'm not a big fan.
You can't really judge too much from the Honda practice times. If so, Davidson should be 1st seat. I would assume that Button and Sato were running on reduced rev limited trim to improve engine longevity, so would maybe have one or two true hot laps. The active drivers were probably doing personal tire selection and race setup. I would have Davidson doing a "race simulation" type duties, so going full race spec. Sato had his rear tire blow at the end of the session, so from his press release comments, his hot lap was interrupted.

What about poor Kimi. I swear that Macleran is doing some sort of psych experiment on him to see when the iceman will melt and start whacking the mechanics working on his car.
