They've got to figure out a way to get a better sound out of the diesel though. Maybe play a pre-recorded tape of a Ferrari V8 when you get on the gas pedal.

Berlin is still rebuilding from the war, let alone the commies. 87% of the city was damaged or destroyed in the bombing. When the commies took over their sector, they never fully rebuilt it. In east Berlin there are sections where there is just grass and sand in between big buildings. Very strange.

It is a great drive, I did the opposite direction through the Apennines mountain range - I went from Milan to San Salvo (a small village on the Adriatic) and spent 5 weeks on the beach there - what a great summer that was.....
