Been shopping on the trader for awhile for S2000 and there seems to be these stupidly priced ads:

yup, it is, not just on s2k's but other cars as well....not sure why trader doesn't erase them when they're so blatantly obvious.

Yesterday I was looking through the ads and saw two that claimed to be FWD. That must've been some special edition I missed.

It is now free to post on autotrader for 7 days. Used to be something like $40-60 before.

Thats why you get all these fakes now.

The newest thing ppl experience is telemarketers getting phone numbers off the advertisements. I know my cell phone is flooded with calls now from automated auto dialers that ask random questions and promise to buy your car at the asking price. I'd never list with them again until they can improve their system to combat this issue.

I've sent several, complaint e-mails to Auto Trader complaining of all the bogus ads. Not once have I received a response.
You can't trust very many of their ads anymore and there are sooooo many repeats! Kijiji has the same spam crap as well.
